Your guide will pick you up from your hotel in Kiruna and will drive you to our kennel. When you arrive at the kennel the first thing we provide you with are some warm clothes for the tour. Once you’re geared up, it’s time to meet our super friendly and playful Alaskan huskies. They will give you a proper warm welcome and our puppies are masters of it!
If you like, you are more than welcome to help us harness the dogs. When the dogs are ready on the line then the only thing that you have to do is sit back, relax and enjoy this amazing and silent ride through the enchanted arctic wilderness. Our trail goes through snow covered pine and birch forests and over frozen lakes.
Our tour heads out north towards the Rautas river valley and covers a distance of about 16 km. Once we are halfway we will stop for a warm cup of coffee or tea with home-baked cake in our typical Sami tent with a nice warm fire. On clear days it is even possible to see our highest mountain in Sweden called “Kebnekaise”.
Silence is our king in the arctic, but make sure that you ask all your questions about our dogs. Our guides are more than happy to answer them all! You will also have plenty of time to take awesome photos and play with our dogs.
The tour lasts 2,5 hours and at the end we will drop you off at your hotel in Kiruna.
